Keith Katsikas I deleted every account who never logged in and/or that looked like it was not created by a person. So if your account is still here I know you are a real person and you've logged in before. I really want to make this website work and though starting up a new social network is very difficult, and slow-going, I think an LDS social network would be really awesome to get active. I hope you all agree and will help me by inviting your friends to join YourZion.com and you yourself coming and posting comments often. I really enjoy reading your comments and I know others do as well. Thank you! =)
Diane Milligan Good morning everyone! I pray you all had a wonderful Easter weekend with family and/or friends. I'm new here, so maybe someone could connect with me and show me around. :)

Patricia Littau You all have to check out this book. Your Study Guide of The Book of Mormon Made Easier by David J Ridges. This study guide is so helpful and insightful. It's making my reading of the BOM so much easier.
Keith Katsikas Just checking in... Yes, I'm still alive. lol ... I have been working on my other business called, Shortale Times. We are doing very well in the state of New Hampshire. Please feel free to check out what we're doing at: www.shortaletimes.com and www.shortaletimes.com/facebook
Paul wrote on Lyndon Gardner's Wall I'm starting a photo repair and restoration service. Samples of my work can be found at:
www.wilderwoodpath.net/gallery. I specialize in old worn photos and try to make them once again
be attractive. Please check them out.
Keith Katsikas I performed a MAJOR cleaning out in the membership logs. I found so many accounts with fake emails and accounts that were created but no one ever logged in. I removed ever single one of them. So today, all that is left are the accounts where the emails are real and the accounts have been used by a person. I think I am going to have to do a better job at validating accounts in the future.
Lyndon Gardner How can I tell if someone on Your Zion is a person I know if they make their name so hard to decipher? Who in the world is zbthaceidy for example? I don't know if I want to be their friend or not! Just sounding off, getting it off my chest.

Lyndon Gardner Thank you, Keith. It has helped but there are still a lot of people that I would not visit their page because I don't know if i know them or not by their user name. All I can say is if you want friends, they need to know who you are! I am not going to waste my time sorting through a lot of people just to see if they are someone that I know. Perhaps some people would do that but I have better things to do with my time.

Keith Katsikas I don't know for sure, but I suspect that accounts that have long, very weird usernames are created by a bot. There have been several new accounts generated over the last few weeks that I find suspect. There's really no point to having computer generated accounts. We need people here. Not sure who would do that, but I don't know how to stop it. All I can do is delete the account I KNOW to be fake. And the only way I can tell that for sure is if the email that was used is fake. If someone has asked to be your friend then we know that account is real. I would look at their profile page and see if they have entered any information about themselves. If all the fields are empty then I might ignore them.

Lyndon Gardner by the way, I just made up the name listed above but that is just what all of the others look like to me.
Keith Katsikas Our good friend, Mark Knopf's funeral and burial will take place TODAY, August 4th, 2011, at 2:00 PM EST in Millinocket, Maine. I ask all who knew and loved him (and I know there are many of us) to please stop whatever it is we're doing at 2:00 PM EST today and say a prayer for Mark, his dear wife Diana Knopf, and all of Mark's family and friends. Your prayers will certainly be felt and much welcomed. This is something Diana had asked me to do, if I wasn't able to make it to the funeral in person (which, with incredibly great sadness I cannot make it) and I promised that I would. I ask you all to please do the same. Thank you all so kindly! =)
